Multiple students have expressed dissatisfaction with this year's finals schedule, as many will still be learning new material just days before exams, have less time to study and have to adjust travel plans. Others fear that students who have later exams have an unfair advantage, as they will have more time to study material learned in the last two days of regular classes.Ā

Both College Democrats at Pitt and College Republicans at Pitt saw increases in their membership this year, according to Henry Cohen, co-president of College Democrats at Pitt and Jesse Milston, secretary of College Republicans at Pitt. The smell of sewage has been an issue for students across campus, with many complaining of strong smells. Although brief exposure to sewage odors, such as walking by a manhole, pose ā€œno risk to healthā€ according to Molly Stitt-Fischer, director of environmental health and safety at Pitt, students are still unsatisfied.Ā
